Though a native of Minnesota, my father served in the U. S. Army so we spent several years traveling with him from one military post to another. In 1965 we were living in Kansas when my father received orders to deploy to Vietnam. I moved back to Minnesota with my family after the 1965-66 school year had already begun. Memories of that partial year at Robbinsdale H.S. are fuzzy and I really don't remember even the names of fellow classmates!
